What to See and Do in the Ribeira Sacra In August 2010 – We suggest a visit to Cristosende (15 minutes from Castro Caldelas, 35 minutes from Monforte de Lemos), one of the most picturesque villages in the area, which boasts the region´s only hand-weaving and basketry studio, Anna Champeney Estudio Textil (open in August to the public) but a winery and village restaurant and bar.
